If you are travelling in Europe it is doubly important to check your BMW is prepared for the journey. And did you know it is compulsory to have the following items in your car in most European countries?

Book one of our European Health Checks and we’ll check your BMW as per our Health Check above, plus we’ll check the condition of your BMW supplied first aid box and breakdown triangle. We’ll provide you with a set of headlamp beam converters and a reflective jacket, we’ll supply and fit GB number plates** and we’ll also include an oil top-up kit in a handy pouch.

Did you know that incorrectly inflated tyres can cause excessive tyre wear as well as effect the safety and fuel economy of your vehicle?

To make sure your tyres are correct we are offering a free tyre check. One of our BMW Technicians will inspect your tyre condition, tread depth and pressure for you. We’ll even give you a free tyre pressure gauge to attach to your key ring so you can do your own checks quickly and easily.

There are three main reasons why maintaining the right tyre pressure is important. The first is safety. Tyres that are under inflated can overheat and over inflated tyres can lead to poor vehicle handling on the road. The second reason is economy. Over or under inflated tyres suffer more damage than those with the correct pressure and need to be replaced more regularly. Vehicles with under-inflated tyres have increased rolling resistance that require more fuel to maintain the same speed. The third reason is the environment. Correct tyre pressures help to maintain optimum fuel efficiency. This can equate to lower CO2 emissions coming from your vehicle than those with incorrect tyre pressures and that has to be good for the environment.

Should the check conclude that you require replacement tyres we will give you 10% off our normal tyre prices if purchased at the end of the check and 15% if all four need to be changed.

NB: A point to remember is that if you have run-flat tyres, the tyre warning light will illuminate if you have a puncture but will NOT if you have under inflated tyres.

Book in for a free air conditioning check and one of our BMW Technicians will visually inspect your BMW’s condenser and pipes, compressor activation and belts, plus check internal air temperature.
